Personal Care Assistants – PCA’s
Our personal Care Assistant (PCA) are trained by our RN. They provide friendly care, socialize and supportive services, including performing basic chores in the home.
PCA services from Care partners Homecare LLC are available in twin cities metro areas and its suburban areas.
Some of the services our PCAs provides include but not limited to one or more of the categories of services.
- Activities of daily living (ADLs): This includes grooming, bathing, eating, transfer, mobility, positioning and toileting.
- Instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs): This includes accompanying client to medical appointment, to participate in community activities, assist with paying bills, complete household tasks, plan and prepare meals, shop for food, clothing and other essentials items.
- Observation and redirection of behaviors: our PCA may observe and provide redirection to the recipient for episodes of behavior needing redirection as identified in the care plan develop by the Registered Nurse.
- Health-related procedures: are tasks that can be performed by PCA that can be delegated or assigned by a licensed health care professional such as a nurse under state law.
